Why Do Cats are Afraid of Cucumber Explained By a Specialist!

Another unusual video rounds on the internet showing how cats got scared by a simple lifeless cucumber that was placed behind them while having their meal.

Even I got a bit curious on why these cats acts so scared after seeing this piece of vegetable.

Dr Roger Mugford, a specialist in animal behaviour, said: "I think that the reaction is due to the novelty and unexpectedness of finding an unusual object secretly placed whilst their heads were down in the food bowl".

"Cats has to be suspicious of the unknown: it could represent the danger of a snake or another predator. I suspect that there would be the same reaction to a model spider, a plastic fish or a human face mask".

Well people does the same reaction whenever they get surprised by an unwanted guest.
