Ahron Villena was the first to post a black-and-white photo of them.
“I’m really happy to have you as my friend/best friend kasi andyan ka [palagi] for me… Alam kong madaming taong mali ang interpretation sa atin”, he said, adding what’s important is that they know that they are best friends.

Cacai Bautista also brought to Instagram her sentiments; roughly an hour after Villena shared his post.
“Ang alam ko lang, totoo kung ano mang meron tayo. Maganda ang nabuo nating friendship… Dahil masarap maging bestfriend mo”, Bautista wrote in the caption of her photo showing her and Villena hugging each other.
[All I know is what we have now is true. We’ve created a beautiful friendship because it is great being your best friend.]
“I hate it when People put pressure on people’s relationships even if they don’t know how it works”, she said.
Many supporters of their love tandem expressed sadness over the clarification they made. The rumors of them being in a relationship rooted from the sweet photos and videos of themselves they share online. In an interview on ABS-CBN’s “Aquino & Abunda Tonight”,
Bautista was asked by host Boy Abunda if she and Villena are dating. She replied, “Hindi pa po [Not yet]” and jokingly poked fun at herself saying that she was expecting.
