Another Sweet Love Team Blooms Right Out of Social Media! Make Way for #DuRiam!

In a series, The first Pilipinas 2016 Debate is being mounted by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and its media partners was organized by GMA-7 and the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

A tandem between Duterte and Santiago that was named by the netizens as DuRiam, which the combined names of Duterte and Miriam was born on the first series of the debate. It ease the tension between the five presidentiables as they tackle the issue of the country.

Before the debate was aired on the television, Duterte approached and hugged Santiago. A tight hug from the senator as the cameras clicked away was his reciprocated gesture.

When the issue of graft and corruption was brought up, Santiago said that Duterte is one of the very few who have fought it.
