Another video is viral now online showing Mayor Duterter talking on the stage with his supporters at the back. It is believed to be one of his campaign rallies. Aside from that, netizens believe that the controversy started from this exact event.

"Ni-rape nila iyung lahat ng mga babae so iyung unang asolte, kasi nagretreat sila, naiwan iyung ginawa nilang cover. Ang isa doon iyung lay minister na Australyana. Problemanaito... Pag labas, edi binalot. Tiningnan ko yung mukha, T@$#*$@#* parang si... Parang artista sa Amerika na maganda, T@$*&$*%, sayang. Ang pumasok sa isip ko, ni-rape nila, pinagpilahan nila. Nagalit ako kasi ni-rape, oo, isa rin iyun. Pero napakaganda, dapat ang mayor muna ang mauna. Sayang." It is also heard in the background that his supporters are cheering him while Duterte is uttering his statement.
This issue has been used by the Mayor's opponents and criticized him for this awful joke. Mar Roxas mentioned: "Ang babae ay may karapatan, hindipinaglalaruan. Hindi itokatatawanan, kahayupanito." On the other hand, Vice President Binay and Senator Grace Poe also firmly opposed to Mayor Duterte's bad joke. They disagreed by saying that rape is not a simple topic to be a subject for jokes. There are online addicts who conveyed dissatisfaction to Duterte's joke and asked for a public apology. But, like what he said in his interview, he will not apologize because he said it out of rage.
