Five days after Miss Universe 2015 coronation night, where Steve Harvey mistakenly declared Miss Colombia as the winner and then corrected himself by announcing that the crown should be to Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach sent a touching message to Ariadna Gutierrez. It was then recalled that Miss Colombia was saddened by the event and made a controversial on the social media as well as around the world.

To set things straight, Pia posted a picture in her Instagram account and made a simple message to all who supported her and also to Miss Colombia, Ariadna. Pia said Ariadna is an amazing woman and she knows that everyone in Colombia is very proud of her.
“To Ariadna, you are an amazing woman and we are now bonded together forever by a unique experience. In the last 3 weeks we were together, I saw how strong and beautiful you are inside and out. You represented your country with honor and I know how proud everyone must be of you. Fate has a plan for you, and I'm excited to see what's ahead."
