Our country’s tourism slogan “It’s more fun in the Philippines” landed third among the 100 smartest marketing campaigns in the world. “It’s more fun in the Philippines” campaign was launched in 2012 to attract visitors to visit the country. The campaign hopes to direct the whole country in creating positive buzz around this tagline. “Using Filipinos themselves as the inspiration for the campaign, the slogan: ‘It’s more fun in the Philippines’ captured the attention of the whole nation – even the world,” Warc said.
Behind this fun tagline is a more serious problem that our country is facing today. One of these is the transportation which is the main necessity of all Filipinos. A Facebook user named James Cubelo, Advertising student and soon to graduate posted a video and gained a drastic attention of netizens.
In his short video, he’s showing to all the netizens how crazy his experience in LRT1 from Central Station until Pedro Gil. He compared his breathtaking LRT journey to fantastic Star City ride. It’s not just James who encountered this unique ride, even student foreigners experienced the fun and exciting LRT ride!
